Costco Canada requested Karen Haywood Queen, a freelance journalist and piano teacher, to prepare an article that explored how aspiring musicians learn to play a musical instrument. Karen sought out potential teachers throughout Canada, using the internet, targeting websites etc. Dan’s website caught Karen’s attention (designed by bdox.ca) and he agreed to assist Karen in this project. Karen’s article, “Take Note” , has been published in the November/December issue, Costco-Connection (see page 44 – 45). If you click on the link above, you will be able to read the article.
Tessa has been attending the studio for just over a year. Both teachers she has had have been patient and encouraging. They are nurturing her love of music. She started here at 6 years of age and her progress with the help of first Sarah and now Penny is amazing to me. We have also found Dan and Linda to be very helpful and accommodating.Mother, Hamilton Piano Students

My son Randy is very lucky to have such an incredible man as his piano teacher. What a privilege to be in his environment and see him not only teaching the piano, but also mentoring him with words of wisdom, encouraging him to work hard. He also gives him an example of a great man that plays the piano or has worked hard to accomplish great things. What an inspiration for my son.Mother, Hamilton Guitar Student

We’re so pleased with the lessons our 3 sons are receiving. They are learning a lot more a lot more quickly than with our last teacher. The teachers are very patient while still motivating students. In fact, Dan has done wonders with our oldest son despite his sometimes difficult personality.Mother, Hamilton Music Lessons
